What You Will Achieve
Working with Pfizer's dynamic engineering team, your responsibilities for Facilities coordination will include overseeing functions and outside services for facility cleanliness and compliant operation. Role requires competent computer skills in a Windows environment and the use of maintenance management software you will play a critical part in managing the maintenance and reliability engineering activities involving the redesign, maintenance, and repair of utilities systems, buildings, and production/non-production equipment.
As a Senior Associate, your knowledge and skills will contribute towards the goals and objectives of the team. Your ability to meet team targets will help in completing critical deliverables. Your innovative use of communication tools and techniques will facilitate in managing difficult issues and establishing consensus between teams.

How You Will Achieve It
  • Oversee contracts and service providers for janitorial, pest control, lawncare/snow removal functions. Coordinate service contracts and inspections related to fire suppression and security systems.
  • Lead all aspects of facility planning for the site, including facility strategies, execute facility capital projects, determine facility capital investments.
  • Provide necessary operational support as needed.
  • Responsible for lifecycle manage of buildings and facilities and grounds.
  • Ensure facilities meet cGMP standards by conducting regularly scheduled walkthroughs and inspections.
  • Responsible for developing corrective action plans and timelines for identified compliance gaps.
  • Subject matter expert for pest control and general site housekeeping, supporting BOH inspections as necessary.
  • Plan and coordinate contracted resources for facility renovations and refurbishments.
  • Promote safety within the workplace by following site safety procedures and perform proactive safety assessments, foster a safe work culture.
  • Responds to call-outs and emergencies as necessary.
  • Assist with Maintenance Repair and Operations (MRO) spare parts program.

Qualifications
Must-Have
  • Applicant must have High School Diploma (or equivalent) and 8 years of relevant experience
  • OR an Associate degree with 6 years of experience
  • OR a Bachelor's degree with at least 3 years of experience
  • OR a Master's degree with more than 1 year of experience.
  • Knowledge of OSHA and other environmental regulations.
  • Familiarity with computerized asset management systems.
  • Knowledge of operating requirements and safety precautions related to facility management.

Nice-to-Have
  • Relevant pharmaceutical experience.
  • Experience with negotiating service contracts.

Physical/Mental Requirements
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to wet or humid conditions (non-weather); work near moving mechanical parts; work in high, precarious places; outdoor weather conditions; extreme cold (non-weather); extreme heat (non-weather) and risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate; occasionally required to stand; sit; use hands to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk or hear and taste or smell; occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include ability to distinguish colors and adjust focus.
Non-Standard Work Schedule, Travel, or Environment Requirements
Ability to respond to alarms/emergencies after hours.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $72,700.00 to $121,200.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer's Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 7.5% of the base salary.
