Job Description
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Identify and communicate concerns, problems, and challenges to leadership in a positive, constructive, and solution-orientated manner.
2. Act as a role model by being pro-company and supportive of all employees and teams within the company.
3. Maintain the confidentiality of matters encountered while performing tasks for Human Resources and Management.
4. Perform other duties as assigned.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:
1. Monitor the Facilities Help Desk queue to prioritize and manage workload. Complete tasks in a timely manner.
2. Setup and/or modify workspace areas for new and current staff, such as desks, cabinets, or cubical walls, badges, and access.
3. Implement ergonomic changes to workstations.
4. Perform single and departmental moves with maximum efficiency.
5. Provide backup for Mailroom functions, as needed.
6. Keep all public/shared areas, such as lobbies, lunchrooms, and conference rooms, neat and in good repair.
7. Patrol parking lots and issue violation stickers as necessary.
8. Keep office machinery such as copiers, fax machines, and printers stocked and in working order.
9. Install fixtures like whiteboards, corkboards, pictures, posters, and clocks.
10. Assist with special requests.
11. Act as liaison with the property management company for facility inspections, issues and etc.
12. Perform a daily walk of the facility to identify potential issues.
13. Work with the VP of HR to document policies related to facilities.
14. Collect facility invoices and forward them to your manager for approval; details must be supplied for each invoice.
15. Provide daily updates to the manager regarding the status of work completed, work pending, issues, etc.
16. Participate in Green Team and Employee Engagement activities as needed.
17. Suggest appropriate changes that reduce cost, increase efficiency, enhance safety, etc.
