- Conduct preventative maintenance or repair work within manufacturing, office or warehouse locations via written or verbal instruction.
- Support manufacturing with assistance in fabrication and installation of work center ergonomic improvements.
- Assist with preventative maintenance activities as necessary.
- Performs minor plumbing maintenance and repair (unclogging of drains, replacement or repair of leaks in drains and faucets, installing new lines as necessary) to provide efficient plumbing capabilities.
- Perform minor painting, carpentry and masonry including surface preparation, to preserve wood and metal parts from corrosion.
- Configures and installs modular offices spaces to accommodate user needs and maximize office space.
- Inspect buildings and other structures to detect malfunctions and make recommendations for corrective action according to the site operations manual.
- Diagnose and correct problems with plant utility systems as necessary.
- Prioritize, diagnose and correct problems as identified.
- Follow established safe work practices to ensure a safe working environment.
- Operate powered industrial equipment as necessary.
- Responsible for records retention storage and disposal.
- Perform repairs using various hand tools, power and specialty tools.
- All other duties as assigned.
Required Experience
- Three to five years experience with maintenance or facility improvement activities.
- Proven ability to perform safely with minimal supervision and advanced understanding of plumbing, carpentry and electrical skills required.
- Read, write and perform simple mathematical functions.
- Read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, instructional materials.
