Mechanic (Machine & Facility Maintenance) 1st Shift

• 1st Shift - 6:00 am to 2:30 pm (6:00 am Monday to 2:30 pm Friday)

***$1,000 Sign On Bonus ***

****$32 to $36 per hour based on experience****

MISSION: To provide value-added Machine and Facility Maintenance at optimized costs, provide production operator support and training to meet production requirements and keep CRC customers satisfied, and strive for continuous improvement for all operations.

REQUIREMENTS:
Experience: Minimum of 5 years’ electro-mechanical troubleshooting & repair experience (preferably in an industrial, aerosol packaging environment)

• Strong diagnostics experience, Experience troubleshooting PLC’s and discrete control circuits (component level repair a plus)
• Proven critical thinking experience, Training/teaching experience (preferably in an industrial/technical discipline)
• Process/equipment improvement experience, Experience in a fast-paced, high pressure environment (get equipment up and running quickly to keep production running).

Education: High School Graduate or equivalency preferred. Associates degree in technical discipline preferred. (Trade certifications a plus)Skills: Preventive maintenance and continuous improvement mindset & experience Strong critical thinking skills (ability to evaluate/analyze, conceptualize, generate viable solutions, and implement solutions), Strong troubleshooting skills, Data driven, results oriented Resourceful: ability to find or create solutions (locating spare parts, fabricating, repair instead of replace) Strong “follow-up” skills (make quick repairs to keep production running then follow-up with long-term fixes or improvements). Must have strong customer service skills (whether supporting production line workers and processes, or dealing with equipment suppliers, service organizations. Ability to weld (preferred)

• Work independently and follow work orders with a minimum of supervision
• Have thorough knowledge of shop tools and procedures, Be able to read blue prints and schematics
• Customer service oriented (service organization)
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
• Have a “teaching” approach to dealing with machine operators.
• Good listening skills (ability to listen to machine operators to help diagnose problems and work on improvements)
• Ability to follow all safety rules and regulations.
• Ability to drive a forklift, Be able to lift 50 pounds
• Working knowledge of hi-speed liquid packaging production machines and common mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic components.
• Ability to work in a team or independently.

CRC Industries, Inc. facilities receive, blend, and package mixtures of chemicals. The facilities are regulated for the flammable substances onsite and utilize multiple safety features including engineering controls such as fail-safe devices, exhaust and ventilation systems, fire safety systems, automatic shutoff systems, and gas detection systems, as well as administrative controls and personal protective equipment.

Pay: $32.00 - $36.00 per hour
