General Summary:                       

• Maintain operating condition of buildings and equipment. Perform general repairs and preventive maintenance on systems including plumbing, electrical, heating, refrigeration, carpentry, masonry and paint.
• Assists in performing safety inspections and preparing reports as required.

Essential Job Functions:

• Work with appropriate contractors to ensure that security/fire systems are working properly.
• Manage Subcontractors as required to support facilities needs; landscaping, now removal, cleaning, Electrical, local utilities etc.
• Assist in developing and/or implementing new policies/procedures/standards to ensure that all personnel adhere to the safety/OSHA requirements established at Aydin.
• Supervise others by assigning/directing work.
• Order maintenance and janitorial supplies as required.
• Duties are inclusive and may vary with individual assignments
• Perform monthly and quarterly PM on equipment and HVAC systems
• Maintain clean grounds plus remove of trash in certain areas
• Provide assistance during emergencies, running generators driving vehicles...
• Availability for on call after hours and weekends
• Work from ladders or elevated platforms.

Education and Training:

• Possession of a high school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED).
• Fork Lift Operation
• Scissor Lift Operation

Certifications:

• Valid driver's license
• OSHA Facility Management

Technical Requirements

• Power and hand tools used in Facilities Maintenance; recordkeeping techniques and regulations, including use of automated record systems; OSHA workplace health and safety standards and procedures; use of personal computers to use automated recordkeeping tools, automated system controls, and email; customer service practices

Experience:

• A minimum of five years experience performing skilled or semi-skilled maintenance duties.

Physical Requirements:                  

• Good eyesight, with or without glasses.
• Ability to discriminate colors on wires.
• Manual dexterity.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
