What the job involves:
We are currently seeking an Intern in Facilities Management join our team. As an intern at JLL, you would work as part of our Facilities team at a client site, getting involved in providing service to customers, and designing how we can improve that service with new ideas, tools or processes.
As an Intern in Facilities Managementat JLL, you will:
- Conduct data collection activities for existing accounts in Public Institutions sector, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information is maintained.
- Survey and analyze existing accounts to identify growth opportunities and develop strategies for expanding business within the sector.
- Review Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and assess scopes of work, proactively identifying areas that require further clarification or additional information.
- Collaborate with multiple lines of business to ensure smooth transition and onboarding of new accounts, facilitating effective communication and coordination.
- Implement strategic plans to meet deliverables for new accounts, ensuring timely completion and successful delivery of required services.
- Assist with facility condition assessment, maintenance job plans, OCP support, and facilities administration.
- Coordinate and develop skills in vendor management, work order management, and client relationship management.

- Location: Houston, TX | Remote - Role will include travel to various client sites in the Houston area.
Education, Skills, and Experience
- Actively pursuing a bachelor's degree, with 2-3 years completed majoring in any field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to think and work independently
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications
- Ability to work with multiple people on a variety of differing projects and meet assigned deadlines
- Desire to learn more about our industry
- Interest in property management
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative
- The ideal candidate should be prepared to work in a fast-paced team environment and will finish the internship having gained broad experience in various aspects of Commercial Real Estate.
