Job Summary:
We are seeking a dependable, trustworthy person with solid experience in maintenance and housekeeping work to join our team. The ideal candidate is reliable, motivated, and able to work independently, and has an effective system for staying organized. Duties/Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot building repairs at CSC properties
- Troubleshoot issues with building systems
- Handle emergency cleaning and upkeep requests
- Surfaces may include hard surface furniture, upholstered furniture, mirrors, glass furniture/windows/doors, carpeting/rugs, hard surface floors, metal appliances and elevator cabs, and natural stone.
- Ensures that the common amenity spaces are prepared and cleaned each day, always keeping an upkept appearance.
- Detail cleaning such as scrubbing, and mark removal of walls, furniture, and other surfaces as needed
- Safely operates electric and battery powered equipment such as vacuums, buffers, burnishes, auto scrubbers, drill, shop-vac etc. Removes trash and debris: transports trash, recycling, and debris properly protected.
- Low level maintenance such as unplugging toilets and sinks.
- Knowledge of chemical usage and dilutions.
- Keeps cleaning and maintenance supply inventory up to date and requests specific items as needed
- Supporting and working with general contractors and vendors
- Be willing to work between multiple properties
- Other duties as assigned
Proven Experience
- Being dependable
- Working independently without direct supervision
- Working well within a team and between other teams
- Exercising common sense and good judgement
- With safety measures and ensuring proper procedures as laid out
Other Factors
- Experience working with Native American population and/or a strong awareness of Native Culture
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record in the past 2, reliable transportation to get between all properties
- Availability on the weekends, and or holidays.
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma/ GED
- Ability to follow directions and established safety procedures
Physical Requirements:
- Climb, crawl, squat, kneel, reach, or twist
- Lift, push, pull or carry objects over 25 pounds
- Follow verbal and written instructions
- Identify problems or irregularities for early resolution
- Work effectively in a general business environment, with a focus on high levels of quality and customer service
- Communicate, read, and write using the English language
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
