North Country Facilities Management is seeking an experienced Facilities Maintenance Technician to bolster our team of skilled professionals.

Job Description Summary:

As a Facilities Maintenance Technician, you will engage in a diverse range of skilled duties within the building trades. From painting and carpentry to electrical work, HVAC maintenance, plumbing and beyond.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough inspections and diagnoses to determine necessary repairs for both interior and exterior scopes of work.
• Execute installation, repair, and construction tasks across various maintenance trades, including carpentry, painting, tile work, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, welding, and HVAC.
• Utilize a user-friendly phone-based application to efficiently record and manage assigned jobs.
• Be prepared to fulfill additional duties as required to support the company’s Construction/ Maintenance departments.

Qualifications:

• Possess a strong understanding of building trade practices, terminology, and safety precautions.
• Demonstrated ability to work a flexible schedule, including availability for extended shifts and weekend assignments.
• Proficiency in utilizing a wide range of hand tools and power tools.
• Minimum of 3 years of construction/ maintenance experience.
• Excellent attendance record and reliable transportation.
• A valid New York State Driver's License is required.
• Must have own tools.

This position offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $27.00 to $30.00 per hour, with potential for higher compensation based on experience.
