TITLE:Facilities Maintenance Supervisor
DEPARTMENT: Administration
REPORTS TO: Chief Financial Officer
FLSA: Full Time- Exempt
SUMMARY: The Facilities Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for carrying out all property maintenance and management functions to keep our facility clean and in top working order.
RESPONSIBILITES:
- Responsible for hands on maintenance of the building such as, but not limited to sinks, faucets, toilets, flooring, painting, remodeling and organization of supplies and equipment.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose problems to determine repair needs.
- Call outside contractors and third-party vendors as needed to coordinate service and negotiate pricing for larger repairs and maintenance unable to be performed in house.
- Act as a liaison with the lawn service and any contractor on site including timely scheduling.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules and routine property inspections.
- Monitor and reevaluate outside services such as cleaning, lawn maintenance and snow removal services to ensure we are receiving the full value of the services we are paying for.
- Back up for cleaning and trash removal duties as necessary to maintain and enhance our property in addition to our cleaning person.
- Supervise mailroom and cleaning staff.
- Act as back-up Mail Room Supervisor.
- Perform other related duties as required.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required
- Proven aptitude for repair and maintenance.
- 5 years of maintenance experience along with supervisory experience.
- Good computer skills.
- Excellent listening and trouble-shooting skills.
- Well-organized and self-directed with the ability to work independently and as a team player.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with ability to communicate to a diverse audience.
- Ability to meet specific deadlines, multi-task and follow directions.
