The Facilities & General Services Manager will report to the Facilities Senior Manager of Corporate Services and will be responsible for providing facilities management oversight to support a wide variety of employee and business needs at our Chicago IL regional office. Your Impact:
This individual will partner with colleagues across the organization and within Corporate Services to create a productive, safety and comfortable working environment for the staff in this regional office. You will be the lead for the daily facilities operations and ongoing upkeep of the suite. You will serve as the customer contact for any facility related issues. This role ensures the occupants of this office have a positive work experience while supporting the corporate mission. Key responsibilities include:

  • Budget oversight, tracking, processing payment and monitoring of expenses
  • Event coordination in partnership with corporate or business area colleagues
  • Upkeep, repair and maintenance for the office environment
  • Assist in coordinating critical system maintenance in partnership with corporate Building Engineering team
  • Security system oversight, monitoring, testing and reporting
  • AV systems oversight and troubleshooting in partnership with onsite AV personnel and corporate Audio visual team
  • Assist in coordinating furniture re-configurations
  • Manage vendors and schedules
  • Manage occupancy and space planning using the current space software
  • Oversee and assist with onboarding tasks such as seat assignment, badges and parking
  • Partner with building management and corporate for crisis management, building notifications and facilities work order requests
  • Receive assignments in the form of objectives and determine how to use resources to meet schedules and goals.
  • Provide oversight and guidance to subordinates within the latitude of established company policies and to ensure established standards are being met.
  • Recommend changes to policies; establishes procedures that affect organization's operation.
  • Act as an advisor to subordinates to meet schedules and/or resolve technical problems.
  • Oversight of the receptionist and concierge functions
  • Lead a cooperative effort among members of a large department or corporate team.
  • Coordinate with landlord's property management for ongoing communications of building maintenance activities and events.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by the Facilities Senior Manager
Qualifications:
College Degree preferred or equivalent experience
8-10 years related facilities operations management experience
2+ years management experience
Industry designations such as BOMA RPA, FMA, or IFMA FMP is a plus
Management of regional office P&L
Proficient in MS Products, and knowledge of building operations systems and security system

This position has an annualized market-based salary range of $101,000 - $151,000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program. The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position, experience, skill set, internal pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.
