As a Facilities Engineer - Plant Operator you will be responsible for the power plant and mechanical rooms throughout the facility by performing various tasks related to a variety of trades. Below you will find some of yours tasks but not limited to.
What will I be doing?
Visually inspect, operate, maintain and repair mechanical equipment in the power plant and mechanical rooms throughout the facility using knowledge of building mechanical systems such as water distribution, steam supply, pressure reducing stations, and chiller and high-pressure boiler operation. Operate fan systems and maintain temperature controls. Read blue prints and technical manuals, disassemble and reassemble equipment associated with all mechanical systems using various tools and equipment. Involves movement of heavy materials including salt for hotel's softener systems.
Follow manufacturer's guidelines and recommendations for preventative maintenance of all mechanical equipment in the physical plant and mechanical areas of the hotel. Perform preventative maintenance tasks on the mechanical equipment.
Log and maintain all required readings for physical plant of the hotel.
Maintain, test, log, and adjust water treatment readings for mechanical systems of hotel including the boiler, chilled water, condenser, and other closed loop system
Maintain boiler and chiller rooms of hotel in a clean and orderly condition including painting as necessary.
Monitor and adjust hotel's Building Automation System including but not limited to meeting room temperatures, public space temperatures, air handlers, heat exchangers, pumps, etc.

The hourly rate is $23.49/hr - $27.63/hr and is based on applicable and specialized experience and location.
