Job Title:

Fabrication Technician

Reports To:

The Fabrication Technician will report to the Plant/Safety Manager or appointed technician at PFF.

Job Overview:

The Fabrication Technician will provide technical, mechanical, and physical assistance in all phases of fabrication as related to the plastics industry. On the job training will be provided.

Responsibilities and Duties:

· Perform duties such as grinding, plastic welding or any additional functions of plastic fabrication

· Keep work area clean

· Maintain a high/safe production level with the highest degree of quality while keeping rework to a minimum

· Work in all types of weather and environments

· Perform additional duties as assigned by Plant Manager

Skills and Knowledge:

· Good hand-eye coordination

· Ability to operate power/hand tools

· Must be able to dead lift at least 75 lbs

· Ability to read and write

· Reading blueprints, a plus

Qualifications:

· High School Diploma, preferred.

· Two years construction experience – on site, industrial or manual outdoor labor. Experience in plastic fabrication a plus.

· Must have a valid driver's license

· Must be available to travel - paid per diem, when traveling!!!

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
