Form of workThe HAPMANFabrication Shop Floor Supervisor is responsible for the supervision and training of shop personnel. This includes the manufacturing and quality control of all equipment, parts orders, work orders and equipment process instruction implementations. The role works within a team of SHOP FLOOR SUPERVISORs who report to the Plant Manager.

- Three years management experience at minimum.
Responsibilities:
- Promote excellence, maintain shop quality and organization.
- Supervise manufacturing activities for productivity and accuracy.
- Drive continuous improvement in critical activities.
- Schedule jobs, work orders, and parts orders efficiently.
- Management shop employees, including reviews, reprimands, hiring and firing.
- Assist in fixture development and implementation.
- Ensure a safe workplace and uphold health standards.
- Interface with other departments and attend meetings.
- Actively participate in problem-solving.
Reporting Structure: Reports directly to the Building 1 HAPMAN Plant Manager.
Location: 5944 East N Ave., Kalamazoo, MI 49048
- 100% on-site required
- Monday-Friday 7:00AM to 3:30PM
- Overtime hours begin at 4:45AM
- Some Saturday mornings required
- This role is hourly: overtime is paid at time and a half
