POSITION DESCRIPTION: Servers Provide food and beverage service to club members and guests

REPORTS TO: Food & Beverage Supervisor

KEY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Sets up service station and performs assigned side work in preparation of shifts
• Provides immediate attention to all members and guests upon seating to address needs and begin service
• Distributes food and wine menus; answers questions and suggests menu items
• Based on members request provides timely, accurate & pleasant food & Beverage services
• Presents bills after verifying accuracy of prices, taxes, tips and other charges on all checks
• Handles all cash and charge payments as prescribed by standard operating procedures
• Keeps tables, dining room and bus station areas clean
• Advises supervisor of any complaints as soon as they occur
• Performs clean-up and closing duties as assigned by supervisor
• Attends pre-meal meetings as required by supervisor
• Consistently follows all local and state laws, club policies and procedures for the service of alcoholic beverages to members and guests
• Assists hostess in seating of patrons when needed
• Works with F&B Supervisor, Member Services Associate and other servers to set-up, serve & deliver special club functions
• May assigned as daytime window server in 19th hole for food service to bar area or food expediter in main kitchen

SECONDARY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assists other servers when needed
• Other appropriate duties as assigned by their supervisor
• Assists in promotion of upcoming F&B related activities to membership
• Performs other duties as assigned

MINIMUM EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: TABC Certification
