We are hiring an Extrusion Operator for a leading global supplier of branded cleaning systems as well as household and laundry care products.
The Extrusion Operator is responsible for the operation of the Extrusion Line during their shift, which encompasses all aspects of operation. This is a great opportunity with room to grow.
3rd Shift - Sunday - Thursday
10:00pm - 6:00am
$27.00 per hour
Location: Aurora, IL
Extrusion Operator Job Description
- Operate Extrusion line - start up; keep extrusion process under control; monitor the extruder and auxiliaries for alarms and high filter pressure.
- Equipment troubleshooting and weekly preventive maintenance.
- Operate Die change-over.
- Adhere to production schedule and quality standards; record and analyze production data; complete quality audits and fill out related paperwork.
- Communicate with all levels of operations, specifically maintenance and quality.
- interact with all levels of management, other production positions and other departments

Requirements
- High School Diploma required.
- Prior experience in plastics manufacturing (preferably extrusion) running a process.
- Must possess a high level of mechanical aptitude.
- Demonstrated problem-solving ability, and high level of accuracy with attention to detail
- Must be able to read, write and speak English
- Basic computer experience .
