Madsen Steel Wire Products is seeking a Sales Representative who will assist the President to sell products for a dynamic, Michigan-based Powder Coating business. As a Sales & Marketing Representative, you will be a vital part of our business operations, activities, and overall growth. You will use your sales and marketing knowledge, communication skills and analytical abilities to strategically support the sales team and provide high-quality client service. You'll develop relationships with clients, which means you need to be a focused, proactive self-starter, able to multi-task and work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment, and sales-focused to help expand the client relationship.
Responsibilities:
1. Contact sales leads to build new and existing accounts
2. Support business development initiatives
3. Facilitate activities between Madsen Steel Wire Products and clients to provide status reports and resolve issues in a timely manner
4. Maintain knowledge of products, services, and capabilities
5. Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service
6. Aiding sales teams by contributing administrative, technical and clerical support
7. Visit domestic clients and assist Sales team in effectively growing Madsen Steel Wire Products
8. Other responsibilities as needed
Requirements:
1. 3-5 Years of experience as an outside Sales Representative
2. Proficiency with Microsoft office applications
3. BA/BS degree in business, communications, or a related field for this position
4. Superb social skills, experience with project coordination, and capable of working well with staff at all levels and outside clients and vendors
5. Be able to adapt and thrive in constantly changing environments
6. Solid understanding of sales
7. Ability to handle multiple tasks to prioritize needs and expedite tasks upon request
8. The role will be based on out Bronson, MI with approximately 35-45% travel required
