Extension Desk Associate

Hailed as "cultural ambassador to the world" by the U.S. Congress, Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater is renowned for its stellar performances, high-caliber dance training, and innovative educational initiatives which reach nearly 500,000 people around the globe each year.
The Ailey Extension offers dance and fitness classes 7 days a week, along with workshops, private group classes and the kids/teens dance series to the general public and we are looking for a part-time Extension Desk Associate to work 15-20 hours a week for the Ailey Extension department. This position will report to the Desk Operations Manager. The Extension Associate will be responsible for Client Registration including, but not limited to the following: Health Screening, attendance, managing clients' accounts, regulate policies and protocols.
In addition, the Desk Associate must:

• Provide excellent customer service
• Review and respond to emails, phone calls and voicemail
• Assist Studio Manager with set up for In-Person and Virtual Classes
• Assist instructors with class-related issues
• Email Feedback Reports to administrative staff
• Share upcoming events

Knowledge and essential skills:

• Has excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Able to multi-task, anticipate, and troubleshoot concerns in advance
• Excellent interpersonal and management skills
• Detail oriented and highly observant
• Experience with Mindbody Software
• Navigate in Zoom
• Computer Skills: Knowledge of Microsoft Office
