Description:
The North Shore School District #112 Extended School Year (ESY) is for students with an IEP that have been qualified for services over the summer due to severity or lack of progress on their IEP goals. The program will meet for five weeks during the summer to bridge students' skills from the end of one School Year to the beginning of another.
The following Summer School Certified Positions will be available:
Speech Pathologists
Job Summary
Dates: June 21 - July 27, 2023 *Mondays through Thursdays ONLY*
*No School July 3rd & 4th
Summer School Institute Days: June 21 & 22 from 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Staff Hours: 7:45 a.m. - 12:15 p.m. *including 30 minutes of paid plan time*
Student Hours: 8:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
Student Attendance: 18 Attendance Days
Qualifications:
Illinois Professional Educator License registered in Lake County
Certified Speech and Language Pathologist
Working Conditions:
Certified Speech and Language Pathologist - $3640.00
Based upon work every day of the summer program including the required orientation days (2) (for any absences, pay is deducted per diem)
*District employees must complete an online internal application - specify if you have any prior summer school experience, specify for what position(s) you would like to be considered
