Our team is collaborative, creative, professional, and entrepreneurial. We are currently seeking a Experiential Designer to join our team at the Brooklyn Navy Yard office.
As an Experiential Designer, you will work under the guidance of a senior Designer or Project Manager, creating comprehensive presentations by producing fully fleshed out 3D renderings. Strong skills in 3D modeling and rendering are required for this role.
Additionally, you will collaborate with the Innovation Lab Team on concept, design, production, and installation of display projects. You may assist senior designers in detailing drawings and renderings, develop preliminary designs, and learn how to design with production in mind. You will also support senior staff in site verification, field surveying, client assessment, meeting attendance, and documentation.
Key Requirements:
- Intermediate skills in MS Office Suite
- Strong background in Adobe Creative Suite
- Proficiency in one or more of the following modeling programs: Rhino, SketchUp, LightWave, 3DS Max, Vectorworks, Solidworks, Cinema 4D, AutoCAD, Revit, TwinMotion (a plus)
- Working knowledge of Bright Sign and Bright Author software
- High-level finish and rendering skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Working knowledge of color application, materials, aesthetic form, space planning methodology, and essential architectural knowledge
- Dedication, passion, and hands-on approach
- Bachelor's Degree from an architecture or design school
