Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine welding requirements
- Perform welding and fitting tasks according to project specifications and codes standards
- Use various tools and equipment to weld and fabricate metal components
- Measure and cut materials to specified dimensions using manual or power tools
- Assemble and fit metal parts together using welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, or stick welding
- Inspect welds for accuracy, quality, and adherence to specifications
- Perform basic machining tasks such as drilling, grinding, and tapping
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and project completion
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area
Skills:
- Proficient in soldering techniques for joining metal parts together
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications accurately
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of welding principles
- Experience in rigging materials for lifting and positioning
- Familiarity with machining processes for preparing metal surfaces
- Knowledge of codes standards related to welding procedures and safety regulations
- Skilled in various welding techniques including MIG, TIG, or stick welding
- Capable of pipe threading for plumbing or construction projects
- Experience operating a press brake machine for bending metal sheets or plates
- Ability to assemble fabricated metal parts into finished products

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
