Experienced Welder Foreman
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Welder Foreman to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various welding techniques and be able to work with different materials. The candidate will be responsible for interpreting blueprints & engineering drawings to weld and fabricate large, heavy-duty tooling all while maintaining the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities:
- Provide onsite leadership on projects by assigning and overseeing the work of staff welder/s and procurement of materials. Keep all materials, tools, and equipment in an orderly fashion. Demonstrate safe work habits and proper care of tools and equipment.
- Develop material lists and determine equipment necessary for the project
- Train and mentor welders.
- Communicate with customers during project execution, as needed.
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings and specifications to determine the appropriate welding process for the task
- Weld and fabricate using top of the line machinery to assist in the tool fabrication process
- Operate welding equipment safely and efficiently
- Inspect all welds for accuracy and ensure that the welded components meet high quality standards
- Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment and tools
- Collaborate with the production team to meet all project deadlines and quality requirements
- Follow all safety guidelines, common sense practices and maintain a clean organized work environment
Requirements:
- Ability to plan work load for a crew
- Supervision experience a plus
- Proven experience as a welder in professional manufacturing environment or a construction environment
- Strong knowledge of various welding techniques, including MIG, TIG and Stick welding
- Ability to read and interpret blue prints and engineering drawings
- Proficient use of welding equipment and tools
- Knowledgeable in metallurgy and metal fabrication processes
- Organized with attention to detail and a focus on quality and accuracy
- Strong communication and team work skills
- Service and customer-service oriented
- Ability to work independently and problem solve
- Operation of service trucks and non-CDL trucks
- Experience directing jobs and teams, a plus
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Welding certifications (ie AWS Certification) preferred
- Current records of continued work experience
