Experienced Truck Driver - Junk Removal Company

Junk Destroyers LLC a small, family-owned Junk Removal Company, is seeking an experienced and reliable Truck Driver to join our team. As a Truck Driver, you will play a vital role in our daily operations by safely and efficiently transporting junk and debris from residential and commercial locations to designated disposal sites.
Responsibilities:
    •    Operate and drive company trucks to transport junk and debris from customer locations to disposal sites
    •    Adhere to all relevant safety regulations and company policies to ensure a safe working environment
    •    Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure its roadworthiness and report any mechanical issues or damages
    •    Secure loads properly to prevent shifting or damage during transit
    •    Assist with the loading and unloading of junk and debris, utilizing appropriate equipment and techniques
    •    Maintain accurate records of pick-ups, drop-offs, mileage, and other relevant information
    •    Provide exceptional customer service, being respectful and courteous to clients at all times
    •    Communicate effectively with the dispatch team to coordinate schedules and routes
    •    Perform basic maintenance tasks on the vehicle, such as checking fluid levels and tire pressure
    •    Represent the company in a professional manner and maintain a clean and tidy appearance
Requirements:
    •    Proven experience as a Truck Driver, preferably in Junk Removal or waste management
    •    Clean driving record with no recent traffic violations.  Will need to provide a motor vehicle record.
    •    Strong knowledge of local traffic laws and regulations
    •    Ability to operate and maintain various types of trucks, including box trucks and dump trucks
    •    Physical stamina to lift and carry heavy items and perform manual labor as needed
    •    Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with customers in a professional manner
    •    Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting
    •    Reliable, punctual, and committed to delivering exceptional service
    •    Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently

• Medical DOT physical required before starting work
