RESPONSIBILITIES:
Pick Orders according to pick list or shipment orders.
Counts/weigh piece parts.
Drives a forklift as needed.
Use computer to end code piece parts that were removed and or returned to inventory. In addition, end codes and puts away incoming materials.
Labels hazardous materials and or waste as appropriate.
Loads scrap aluminum on trucks
Removes scrap cardboard from lines and loads on truck
Handles finished goods on trucks
Moves equipment, skids, etc according to supervisors/managers instructions
Responsible for stretch wrap and protecting finished goods.
Prepares shipments for next day, second day, third day, international, consignee billings and other specialized shipments.
Perform cycle counting.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
Lean Certified Preferred
One to two years manufacturing experience
Ability to manage multiple priorities at one time
Understanding basic math principles
Ability to use a computer
Must be able to lift 35 lbs. a horizontal lift and carry for 10 feet. An employee may be required to lift up to 50 lbs with the assistance of another employee.
