Experienced Server

The Server provides a full-service experience that includes menu and beer/cocktail knowledge that follows Neighbor’s Kitchen & Yard recipes and policies.

OPEN INTERVIEWS - every Monday & Wednesday 2p - 5p.

**High Volume, Face Paced Environment. Excellent servers making $25 - $30+/hour on average in non-cash tips, plus cash tips.

RESPONSIBLITIES:

• Greet and seat guests in a polite and friendly manner.
• Manage seating timing as to keep smooth flow for servers and orders flowing to kitchen.
• Present food and drink menus, make specific recommendations and answer questions regarding all menu items.
• Complete knowledge of food and bar menus.
• Interact with guests while maintaining a professional and fun demeanor.
• Responsible for serving food, drinks and processing cash and credit card transactions.
• Abide by the TABC/ABLE/TIPS policies concerning alcohol consumption and safety procedures to prevent over intoxication and underage selling.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Understanding of Beverage and Food Handling policies and procedures
• Basic liquor, beer, and bar terminology knowledge
• Must be at least 16 years of age, preferably 18+
• Experience with a POS system preferred but not necessary. TOAST a plus.
• Able to work flexible hours necessary to manage and operate the restaurant effectively
• Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time and to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 30 pounds.
• Legal right to work in the US
