Duties: - Greet and seat guests in a friendly and efficient manner - Take food and drink orders accurately and promptly - Serve food and beverages to guests with professionalism and attention to detail - Provide excellent customer service, ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience - Handle cash transactions using a cash register or POS system - Assist with bussing tables and maintaining a clean dining area - Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders - Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines Skills: - Previous experience in the food industry is preferred - Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively - Proficiency in operating a cash register or POS system - Excellent guest service skills, with the ability to anticipate needs and provide personalized service - Knowledge of basic math for accurate order taking and cash handling - Familiarity with food handling procedures and safety regulations - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail - Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members Note: This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position.
