Job Description:

Boyd Chevrolet Buick is seeking an experienced Parts Consultant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive parts, with a focus on customer service and technical expertise. As a Parts Consultant, you will play a key role in assisting technicians and customers with their parts needs, ensuring they receive the right components for their vehicles.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers and technicians with their parts inquiries and orders, both in person and over the phone.

2. Utilize dealership systems to accurately identify and locate parts.

3. Process parts orders efficiently and accurately, ensuring timely delivery to customers and service technicians.

4. Maintain a clean and organized parts department, including stocking shelves and managing inventory levels.

5. Collaborate with service technicians and other team members to ensure the correct parts are ordered and installed for vehicle repairs.

6. Stay up-to-date on the latest automotive technology and parts trends to provide knowledgeable recommendations to customers.

7. Handle customer inquiries and concerns professionally, resolving any issues promptly and effectively.

8. Assist in maintaining accurate records of parts transactions and inventory management.

Requirements:

1. Previous experience as a Parts Consultant in an automotive dealership is highly preferred.

2. Automotive franchise experience is a plus.

3. Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and communicate effectively with customers and team members.

4. Technical background or experience as an automotive technician is a plus.

5. Proficiency in using dealership management systems and computer software.

6. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.

7. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.

8. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $36,000.00 - $100,000.00 per hour
