Archie’s Hot Dog Island & Catering LLC is seeking an experienced Part-Time Grill Cook to cook and serve delicious hot dogs, philly cheesesteaks, nachos and fresh squeezed lemonade. We are looking for the right individual who excels at cooking, food presentation, sales and customer service. Job incumbent must have experience cooking a variety of food types on flattop grills in prior commercial kitchens and possess a ServSafe Manager Certification (or the willingness to obtain).
Job Qualifications:

- Minimum 3 years experience in the food service industry
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment
- Ability to read, write, and follow instructions
- Ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time
- ServSafe Handler Required
- ServSafe Manager Certification preferred (or a willingness to obtain)
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Prepare ingredients to use in cooking
- Set up workstation with all needed ingredients
- Sell the menu, take the customer's order and prepare the order according to recipe
- Cook items according to the specified cook times to ensure that they are safe for customer consumption
- Use the correct portions when cutting and serving items
- Responsible for the appearance of food when serving customers
- Clean and sanitize work areas, operate and clean grill, utensils and other equipment
- Ensure all food and other items are stored properly
- Check quality of ingredients to ensure freshness and safety
- Adhere to the weekly/monthly cleaning schedule
