SalaryDuties:
- Assist customers in selecting and fitting eyeglasses
- Help customers choose frames that suit their style and preferences
- Adjust frames to ensure proper fit and comfort for customers
- Educate customers on proper eyewear care and maintenance
- Process orders for eyeglasses
- Perform basic repairs and adjustments on eyewear
- Maintain inventory of eyewear and related products
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an optician or in a similar role is preferred
- Knowledge of retail math for pricing and billing purposes
- Familiarity with medical billing systems, such as Officemate, is a plus
- Ability to handle confidential medical records with discretion and adhere to HIPAA regulations
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers, doctors, and other healthcare professionals
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills to keep track of inventory and customer orders
