Overview:A California Registered Law Firm, a reputable law firm, is seeking an experienced Medical Malpractice Lawyer licensed in California to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing a brief prior to filing and providing expert legal advice on Medical Malpractice cases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze a Medical Malpractice brief before filing
- Conduct thorough research on relevant California Medical Malpractice laws and regulations
- Provide expert legal advice and strategic guidance to the legal team
- Collaborate with medical experts to build strong cases
- Represent clients in court proceedings and settlement negotiations in California
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of California Medical Malpractice legislation and case law
Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- Admission to the California State Bar (active and in good standing)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in handling multiple Medical Malpractice cases in California
- Strong understanding of medical terminology and procedures
- Excellent analytical, research, and writing skills
- Exceptional oral and written communication abilities
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Courtroom experience in California is a plus
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $60.00 - $80.00 per hour
