SalaryAssisting Hands is seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team of Caregivers.
As an In Home Caregiver, you will provide essential assistance and support to individuals in need, allowing them to maintain their independence and quality of life in the comfort of their own homes.
Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Assist with meal planning, preparation, and feeding
- Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry and tidying up
- Accompany clients to medical appointments or social outings
- Lift and transfer clients using proper body mechanics and assistive devices
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in senior care or caregiving preferred
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques for individuals with special needs
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build report with office staff and family
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel to client's homes
- Ability to lift heavy objects and assist with mobility tasks
- Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and client needs
Requirements to join our team of Caregivers
- You have 1 year or more of Caregiving experience
- You have available Monday-Friday and/or Saturday and Sunday
- Can commute to Schaumburg, IL and surrounding areas
- You have a heart for seniors!
- Have a valid DL or ID
- Reliable vehicle with auto insurance

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
