Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and related components
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues with diesel vehicles and equipment
- Conduct inspections and preventative maintenance on diesel engines
- Repair or replace faulty parts, such as fuel injectors, pistons, and gaskets
- Use power tools and specialized equipment to complete repairs
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
- Keep accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Diesel Mechanic
- Proficient in heavy lifting and use of power tools
- Knowledge of industrial equipment, tractor-trailers, and heavy equipment operation
- Strong customer service skills to effectively communicate with clients
- Familiarity with forklift operation is a plus
- Ability to read and interpret schematics for troubleshooting purposes
- Experience with aligning and soldering components is preferred
