REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- 10+ years’ experience as a Diesel Mechanic
- Familiarity with fundamental principles pertaining to internal combustion engines powered by diesel and gas
- Extensive expertise in diagnosing and repairing trucks from leading manufacturers such as Ford, Chevy, Dodge, Peterbilt, International, and Kenworth
- Proficient in conducting DOT Inspections as it relates to air brake system and components
- Demonstrates the ability to diagnose, rectify, and perform upkeep on Single Phase and 3 Phase Generators (up to 480V)
- Perform repairs and updates on all issues related to the truck cab
- Required to possess a foundational understanding of forklift repairs
- Welding & Fabricating skills to either existing specifications or for upgrade modifications
- Competence in operating and utilizing diagnostic and electrical testing equipment
- Demonstrate outstanding collaborative skills with colleagues
- Show the ability to deliver within the designated timeframe
- Comfortable operating various shop equipment and tools, including forklifts and Dingo’s
- Ability to understand and follow oral and written directions
- Detailed Orientated with Strong Organizational Skills
- Comfortable with flexible schedules and daily job assignments
- Must be able to travel for local road calls and recoveries
- Demonstrate the capacity to distinguish between repairs suitable for in-house completion and those requiring vendor assistance
- Displays Strong Ability to be Proactive by Immediately Addressing and Repairing Additional Failures Seen While Performing Job Duties
- Individual to provide required tools with toolbox to perform above duties
PREFERRED SKILLS:
- Diagnostic and Repair experience with Caterpillar and John Deere heavy equipment

- Exceptional safety and driving record; sustained record of zero preventable accidents and proactively proven ability to observe legal and defensive driving practices
- Ability to report near misses, incidents, accidents with 2 Call Systems to immediate supervisor

Pay: $27.00 - $29.00 per hour
