Job Description
Responsibilities: - Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers - Take customer orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences - Maintain a clean and organized bar area - Check identification to ensure customers are of legal drinking age - Adhere to all relevant health, safety, and sanitation guidelines - Handle cash transactions and operate the POS system accurately - Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner - Upsell food and beverage items to increase sales - Assist with opening and closing duties as required
Qualifications: - Previous bartending experience preferred, but not required - Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating drink prices - Knowledge of different types of alcoholic beverages and mixing techniques - Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment - Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact with a diverse clientele - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
Skills: - Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating drink prices - Cash handling experience - Bartending experience or knowledge of mixing techniques - Experience using POS systems for order processing and payment handling - Food handling experience in compliance with health and safety regulations - Experience in food service or catering industry is a plus - Sales skills for upselling food and beverage items to customers - Retail math knowledge for inventory management
