SalaryResponsibilities:
- Set up banquet rooms and tables according to event specifications (Heavy Lifting, chairs and tables)
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a professional and courteous manner
- Assist with food preparation and handling, ensuring all safety and sanitation guidelines are followed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of banquet areas throughout the event
- Provide excellent guest service, addressing any concerns or special requests promptly
- Collaborate with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service delivery
- Clear tables and clean up banquet areas after events
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in the food service industry is preferred
- Knowledge of food safety and handling procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective guest relations
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks during busy events
- Basic bartending skills are a plus
Please note that this position requires standing for long periods of time and lifting heavy trays or equipment. The ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is also necessary.
