Job Description
Job responsibilities and duties:
- Perform client consultations in a professional manner, giving the guests the best options to fit their hair needs
- Preform hair services for guests such as shampooing, cutting, styling, coloring and highlighting as desired
- Maintain safety standards and collaborate with the rest of the salon staff to keep the work area clean and create a pleasant atmosphere for clients
- Emphasizes product benefits and assist clients in the selection of Aveda retail products or services for their hair care needs
- Maintain a consistent relationship with guests in order to ensure repeat clients
- Proactively develop new guests through networking, self-promoting to current guests and social media.
- Attend and participate in continuing education and training in order to follow new trends and techniques
- Meet and exceed benchmarks/goals set by Owners and Aveda for retail (RPCT & % of guests purchasing product), retention, prebooking and service per service ticket (SPST)
Qualifications and Skills:
- High school diploma/GED or higher required
- Valid Cosmetology license issued by local state agency
- Minimum of 2 years working with hair
- Knowledge of the Aveda hair care and color line a plus but not manditory
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $35.00 per hour

Experience:
- Hair Styling: 2 years (Required)
- Aveda: 2 years (Required)
License/Certification:
