Organizes and administers exercise aspects of the Health and Fitness Center programs and services. Assists in monitoring physiological parameters during testing and training. Trains all Exercise Specialists to ensure that correct instruction is given and proper testing procedures are followed. Teaches exercise or health promotion classes as appropriate, as well as orienting and counseling participants regarding exercise guidelines. Conducts and/or coordinates all fitness testing, as well as coordinating exercise programs with special programs, such as Cardiac Rehabilitation and work conditioning.Minimum Education
Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Physiology
Master's Degree preferred Minimum Work Experience
One year in wellness, exercise or health promotion preferred. Required Skills

Certifications:
AHA Basic Life Support (BLS)
AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
American College of Sports Medicine or National Strength and Conditioning Association certification required within 6 months of employment.
