As a Full-Time ExemptDean of Advanced Medical Program Partnerships,you will lead and advance the coordination and development of bachelor's, master's, and doctorate-level Program Partnerships in Douglas County. This position will engage with partner educational institutions to bring Advanced Medical academic programming and residency and clinical placements to Douglas County. The position works in collaboration and partnership with healthcare providers, develops and executes a plan of action, and focuses on partnerships to support academic program development to include clinical placements, the student pipeline, facility needs, and cohort planning. The Dean of Advanced Medical Program Partnerships at Umpqua Community College will play a vital role in addressing the healthcare workforce shortage in Douglas County and Southern Oregon. QUALIFICATIONS
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Master's degree in healthcare, business, education, or a related field.
  • Three (3) to five (5) years of significant experience in program development and management (ideally in medical and healthcare education).
  • One (1) to three (3) years of leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain partnerships with healthcare providers and community organizations.
  • Strong project management and organizational abilities.
  • Proficiency in budget management and resource allocation.
  • Knowledge of the unique healthcare challenges in rural settings is a plus.
