Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Executive Sous Chef at The Club at Prescott Lakes. We are looking for an individual who wants to be part of a team that can bring their ideas and creations to fruition in a supportive atmosphere. The Sous Chef is responsible for assisting the Executive Chef in the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, including managing the kitchen staff, preparing and cooking meals, managing inventory and ordering supplies, and maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment. The Sous Chef is responsible for ensuring that all meals are prepared to the highest standards of quality, flavor, and presentation. In the Absence of the Executive Chef, the Sous Chef needs to be able to run all aspects of the kitchen. A good working knowledge of food, sauces & plate presentation is required. We are a private Golf club and employment requires a drug screen. Competitive pay and benefits for the right person.
$45,000-$60,000 DOE
Medical, Dental, Vision and use of club amenities including golf, athletic facility and pool.
Qualifications
- Culinary skills, including cooking, baking, and food preparation
- Knowledge of kitchen equipment and appliances
- Ability to manage and lead a team of cooks and kitchen staff
- Experience with inventory management and ordering supplies
- Understanding of safety and sanitation regulations and guidelines
- Creativity and ability to create new and innovative dishes
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Associates or Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts or related field a plus
- Experience working in a high volume kitchen or upscale restaurant
