Job Description
Camper is hiring an experienced and creative Executive Sous Chef to join our restaurant and events business, to work in concert with an amazing team of professionals. The Executive Sous Chef will contribute to menu changes, updating our production and service techniques and continue to help mentor our amazing team.
Someo of the responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
● Manages and leads with passion, drive and awareness. Exudes postive energy, approachable, and sets the pace for the restaurant staff.
● Ensures highest level of food quality
● Menu development that is in line with concept; consistent training in place for proper execution
● Ensures restaurant operates in compliance with health and safety guidelines; facilities and equipment in perfect working order
● Directly responsible for restaurant facilities including equipment, R&M, working directly with vendors for repair, and scheduling of ongoing maintenance.
● Understands and facilitates all operational systems, procedures, standards, and uphoalds company policies.
● Participates in weekly manager meetings
● Embraces fairness and respect; works well with all staff members
Camper is a 5 year old Upscale Californian Restaurant at the heart of Silicon Valley. We are listed in the Michelin Red Guide and have held high local and national accolades since opening, serving our approachable but well crafted brand of seasonal cuisine.
