Job Description:

Seeking a polished and professional housekeeper to oversee, coordinate and assist with all aspects of the home. The ideal candidate is highly attentive to detail and proactive and is willing to step in with a ‘whatever it takes’ mindset to help keep all things working, organized, and in their respective places. The candidate must be meticulous with cleaning and willing to go to whatever lengths are needed to ensure a project is done as well as possible. No two days will be the same, but all will be busy and fulfilling.

Responsibilities include housekeeping, managing and overseeing vendors, keeping up with regular home maintenance, grocery and pantry stocking, cleaning household items, scheduling repairs, doing laundry and running household errands (gas reimbursement or stipend included).

The principals prefer someone who is comfortable caring for luxury fabrics. Likewise, many of the clothes must be carefully steamed and/or ironed with a high degree of attention to the details and delicate fabrics.

The principals love to entertain, so you may be called upon to help oversee dinner parties, casual get-togethers, and holiday celebrations, which could be any day of the week or weekend. The candidate must maintain a professional and polished presence when dealing with guests.

Flexibility with availability is very important for this position. The principals travel frequently, and the home must be cared for in preparation for their return and departure. The times that they are away provide the opportunity to regularly maintain a deep cleaning schedule. This position will also be responsible for preparing the home for guests during the week or weekend.
