Currently, we are looking for a top-performing Hotel Executive Housekeeper.
DoubleTree Greensboro Airport is looking for a professional, experienced housekeeping manager to perform impeccable housekeeping services and provide our guests with a safe and clean environment for an exceptional stay with us. The Hotel Executive Housekeeper will lead the housekeeping team, ensure team members comply with high cleanliness and sanitation protocol standards, and oversee the housekeeping department budget. Experience in a supervisory role overseeing housekeeping staff or a similar role is required. We highly encourage you to apply if you have excellent communication skills and leadership experience. Spanish Language Skills would be beneficial!
We're within 10 minutes of Big Tree Way Park, Piedmont Triad Airport, and Leonard Recreation Center. Greensboro Arboretum and Greensboro Coliseum are eight miles away. Winston Lake Golf Course, Golf at Grandover, and Jamestown Park Golf Course are within 30 minutes. We offer a shuttle service, 5,000 sq. ft. of event space, and on-site dining.

Some Key Areas of Responsibility for the Hotel Executive Housekeeper:

• Develop, maintain & enforce the Housekeeping Standard of Operations
• Communicate with all Managers/Directors about the needs of each outlet or facility
• Assist in setting up and maintaining a solid vendor base
• Create and maintain daily, weekly & monthly reports
• Perform billing and A/P functions
• Forecast and manage payroll
• Oversee inventory and manage quality control
• Manage associates: interview, hire, train, counsel, and evaluate performance
• Train associates
• Inspect facilities
• Communicate all pertinent information to department staff
• Perform hands-on housekeeping duties when needed

Requirements for Hotel Executive Housekeeper

• High school diploma or equivalent GED
• Experience in customer service
• Excellent interpersonal and multi-tasking skills
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite
• Organizational and follow-up skills
• Supervisory, leadership, management, and coaching skills
• Requires a high degree of problem-solving abilities
• Requires excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to get along well with others, demonstrate flexibility and patience, work as a member of a team
• Professional demeanor in both mannerisms and appearance
• Maintain proper associate uniform standards and footwear which are slip resistant, enclosed toe, and heel
• Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 35 pounds, use of hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; balance; stoop; talk or hear
• Applicants must be able to work weekends & holidays.
