Position Summary:
APEX is an End-to-End, horizontally integrated business planning process across all planning instances.It is seamlessly tool enabled to deliver analytical insights, link decisions to outcomes and achieve our brand and portfolio ambitions.
NEXT is an interconnected, digitally enabled business transformation initiative, enabled by our shift to an SAP S/4 VIBE digital core, that will create the strategic enterprise capabilities required to operate through the next decade of growth. This role will be responsible for leading PMO responsibilities against the APEX project and with these responsibilities transitioning to Program NEXT and other key initiatives in FY25.
The role will manage status of overall program scope, progress, critical deliverables, issues, risks, project timelines, and budget. The role will support the value realization of the program business case, identifying interdependencies between programs, while providing governance to each of the workstreams.
Key Accountabilities:
PMO Leadership:
•Partner with program leadership team to drive the holistic project plan management. Advise workstream leads on critical milestones and expected deliverables. Serve as accountability partner to workstream leads to ensure key issues, risks, and actions have resolution plans and are closed in agreed upon timeframes.
•Embed program management rigor and governance and coordinate key activities to ensure each forum delivers desired outcomes and resolutions. Monitor change requests and escalates to Program Leadership; partner with workstream leads and PMOs to identify magnitude of change and impact to scope, timeline, and budget.
•Develop and provide Leadership and Steerco updates.Deliver visibility & reporting on progress against milestones and key performance indicators.
•Provide strategic thought leadership to translate strategic priorities into actionable game plans and ensure the right resources are in place, considering both capability and capacity; enable execution, ensure the right KPIs are in the place to support the measurement of impact. Tracks value realization of benefits for each workstream.
•Provides thought leadership on the set of templates, digital tools, and processes to be used by project teams. Partners with PMOs to measure efficacy of embedded tools and processes; provides recommendations on how to continuously improve ways of working as we move through each phase of the program.
•Project manage key critical path activities to prepare for NEXT Global Template Design including Systems Integrator Selection, Business Case Development, and SAP Contract Negotiations [once transitioned in FY25]
•Connect dots and create opportunities to remove obstacles and enable program success.
Supports in content creation and preparation for key leadership and socialization forums, including Steering Committee meetings, townhalls, etc.
Collaboration and Change Leadership across the Organization:
•Work collaboratively across each individual workstream to ensure all workstreams are integrated, aligned and on track.Ensure project plan accuracy and incorporate into overall program initiatives.
•Liaise across the organization to ensure regional, functional and global brand connectivity.
•Build and exhibit organizational capability in horizontal adaptation, change and transformation across the enterprise - consultative skills (asking the right questions, creating momentum with dialogue, driving towards deliverables and outcomes, project/portfolio management, organization designstructure and process, change management progress and outcome measurement).
Qualifications:
Job Requirements:
10+ years of progressive experience as a PMO for large scale initiatives.
Track record for delivering complex, enterprise-wide projects.
Ability to work effectively across a matrixed organization.
Ability to influence decision making and develop collaborative solutions.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience in stakeholder management in a matrix organization.
Self-starter who can navigate through ambiguity and identify a path forward.
U.S Corporate/Office Exempt Roles
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $149,500 to $257,000. Exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on
geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a
highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance
and company results as well as participation in the share incentive plan.
