- Monitor contracts to ensure accurate and timely meetings of deliverables and reporting requirements.
- Hold meetings/discussions with the Executive Committee and Steering Committee regarding program goals, setbacks, deliverables, and status updates.
- Convene with various local, private and state agencies to report on program progress.
- Monitor team performance, professional development, and report on metrics.
- Ensure strategic planning to improve FRCNCA deliverance of services to membership and stakeholders.
- Engage membership through continuous communication and site visits to better understand each FRC’s unique needs.
- Act as the liaison between grantors, fiscal agent, Executive Committee, Steering Committee, and stakeholders.
- Ensure efficient and sound management of all finances
- Provide exceptional representation of FRCNCA at in person and virtual meetings.
- Facilitate communication and partnership among FRCs and external organizations to further increase community awareness of the Network and its member organizations.
- Present updates on program details, progress, and achievements as needed to stakeholders, sub-committees, and membership.
- Travel as needed for training/conferences within the United States or Canada.
- Provide for excellent member relations and resources development
- Implement strategic plan
- Support engagement by member agencies and stakeholders regarding mission of the FRCNCA
- Expand and develop funding sources (sponsorships, contracts and grants) for the organization
- Supervision of staff
- Encourage professional development and learning for all staff
- Monitor performance and provide annual evaluation feedback to all staff
- Ensure the prompt hiring of new staff and maintenance of staff levels
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Master’s Degree in a related field such as Social Work, Public Administration, Non-profit Management, Early Childhood Education, Psychology, or other relevant discipline or a similar level of equivalent experience.
- Must have extensive knowledge of the State of CA Departments and their relationships to Department of Developmental Services (DDS) funded Family Resource Centers
- Extensive understanding of the CA Early Start Program, Regional Center System, Social Services, Health Services and Special Education Services.
- Minimum 3 years of overseeing nonprofit/public sector programs is required.
- Knowledge of leadership and management principles for nonprofit organizations
- Proven success working with a board of directors or equivalent
- Parent of an individual with I/DD or family member of an individual with disabilities encouraged to apply
- Background check clearance.
- A valid California driver’s license, proof of vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation or the ability to secure timely transportation to perform the essential functions of the job.
- Must have demonstrated ability and experience working with staff and clients of varying cultures and backgrounds.
- Charismatic team player who enjoys being the public face of an organization.
- Experience with Microsoft Office 365, including PowerPoint, Teams and Excel.
- Must have expert planning and organizational skills.
