JOB SUMMARY
To provide leadership for the area responsible for delivering Financial Services which assist in attracting and retaining students.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential Functions:
- Provide the Administrative Cabinet with regular updates on traditional discount rates, student payments, outstanding balances, and related projections.
- Lead, supervise, hire, train, and evaluate the Financial Services staff.
- Provide leadership and ensure quality customer service around the entire awarding, billing, and collecting process.
- Assist in interpreting institutional financial data for the purposes of budget preparation, decision making, and planning.
- Continually emphasize, measure, and deliver outstanding customer service.
- Serve on institutional committees as required by the position or as recommended by the Executive VP, the VP for Finance, and/or the President.
- Regular informal and yearly formal reviews with direct reports to ensure that goals and actions are aligned with the University’s Strategic Plan.
- Work with university leadership to develop and maintain an effective pricing and discounting strategy.
- Understanding and continual learning of Federal and State financial aid requirements
- Ability to understand, apply and recommend changes to the SNU's scholarship awarding and funding requirement
- Additional duties as assigned

- Minimum of two years of related work experience and/or relevant training

Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree
- Experience with a CRM
- At least 3 years of experience in higher education.
Supervision Received:
Receives supervision and work assignments from a designated supervisor, although other staff members in the unit may provide work direction.
Supervision Exercised:
May be responsible for the coordination of work assignments for a staff of 15-20 plus student employees.
