Job Description
The position of Executive Director/Administrator provides administrative leadership as well as coordination, support, and on-going supervision of all Association activities as defined by the Board of Directors.
Directly Reports to: Association President
Duties:
1) Administration
Coordinate and supervise the daily operations and business of the Organization.
Coordinate with all Organization sub-contracted services and provide evaluations of the effectiveness and value of these services to the Board of Directors as necessary.
Continually assess the management and organizational needs of the Organization and make recommendations to the Board of Directors when changes in structure, funding or support may be advisable.
Assume responsibility for the maintenance of all Organization records and files.
Assure that the Organization, its directors, and committees are operating in compliance with the Organization's By-Laws and Policies.
Work with the Board to develop short and long term goals through a Strategic Plan. Coordinate action items and provide follow up reporting.
Define responsibilities and supervise any Organization clerical and support personnel including providing periodic evaluations of job performance to the Board of Directors.
Work with HPBA when needed: attend Executive Director meetings, actively participate in affiliate and National relations, communicate with National on affiliate happenings.
2) Financial
Identify non-dues revenue sources and work with the Board and appropriate committees to create, implement, and coordinate such programs and activities.
Work with committees to determine funding, resource, and support needs.
Assist the treasurer in developing an annual budget.
Work with the Board to develop Sponsorships and assist in fulfilling Sponsorships for the organization.
3) Organizational Communication & Membership Initiatives
Schedule, attend, and keep record of all scheduled Board of Directors and Executive Team meetings.
Report staff activity and tasks accomplished to the Board of Directors monthly.
Provide support for event promotion, sponsorships, and registration.
Handle all membership solicitation and renewal initiatives.
Create membership documents with updated information pertaining to fees and increases.
Work with the membership committee on a monthly basis.
4) Promotion & Public Relations
Work with the Board to utilize the Organization's website and social media to market the Organization and it’s events.
Represent the Organization at business and community meetings as they are relevant to promoting the Organization's goals.

Must have personal transportation and be willing to travel, attend meetings, and fulfill other job requirements.

Must have proficient computer skills.
>Event Planning
Work with the board and committees to plan and execute the yearly Expo luncheon and summer affiliate event.
Venue research, contract negotiation, and logistics coordination for events.
Create marketing materials for each event and promote accordingly.
When asked, work with the board to create regional events that may include breakfasts, lunch and learns, and more.
