Job Description
We Guide, You Grow LLC is recruiting an Account Executive for a Commercial Lines department. The candidate will provide superior service in expanding and maintaining the Commercial Lines Department client base; analyze and maintain an assigned book of business by visiting clients, determining their insurance needs, and implementing services to help the client maintain their insurance; assist with quoting, handling client requests by mail, telephone, fax, and email or in person from the policy holders, carrier representatives or others concerning their insurance needs; responsible for meeting new business and retention goals as well as implementing and managing service plans for designated clients.
Responsibilities
• Review all renewal and prospect accounts and organize the marketing efforts
• Attend renewal or prospect meetings with Sales Consultant if requested
• In some cases, deliver renewal or meet with prospect without Sales Consultant
• Develop and manage service plans for designated clients
• Meet new business and retention goals set with assigned Sales Consultant
• Respond to escalated client and carrier issues
• Review accounts and suggest additional lines of insurance coverage
• Assist Technical and Client Account Managers with client and carrier requests and miscellaneous correspondence
• Assist Technical and Client Account Managers with reviewing policies, endorsements, audits, and cancellations for accuracy
• May be responsible to conduct client meetings during nontraditional work hours
• Must be able to work independently and with little supervision
• Must be willing to make decisions
• Conduct an audit of the client’s business needs to insure there are no changes in their coverage needs
• Consult and advise the clients on what coverage they require to be fully insured
• Use independent judgment regarding the client’s coverage needs
• Negotiate with carriers regarding coverage &/or pricing for the clients
• Develop long-term relationships with clients and carrier representatives
• Adhere to Agency policies, procedures, and codes of conduct
• Participate in classes and seminars for skill and knowledge development
• Performs other assigned duties or functions as required to meet business objectives
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university; six to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Pennsylvania Driver’s License -MUST
• Pennsylvania Insurance License MUST for:
o Property & Allied Lines
o Casualty & Allied Lines
• Commercial Insurance Counselor Desired
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as insurance contracts and procedure manuals; ability to write routine reports and correspondence; ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume; ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists; ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Internet Explorer, AMS Sagitta, Word Process, or other document management system, Zywave applications, SalesForce, Broker Briefcase, account management system, AgencyFuel reporting, beginner level database management, and spreadsheet software
SALARY:
$100,000 to $165,000 based on experience
