- Oversee all aspects of food preparation and production in the kitchen
- Develop and create innovative menu items that meet the needs and preferences of customers
- Ensure that all food is prepared and presented in accordance with quality standards
- Manage inventory control to minimize waste and ensure proper stock levels
- Implement and enforce food safety and sanitation standards to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment
- Train and supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support as needed
- Collaborate with other departments, such as front-of-house staff, to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments to continuously improve menu offerings

- Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary trends
- Strong inventory control skills to effectively manage stock levels and minimize waste
- Thorough understanding of food safety regulations and best practices
- Proven experience in food production, including experience as a cook or chef
- Exceptional hospitality skills to provide excellent customer service
- Ability to effectively manage a team, including training, scheduling, and performance management
- Proficient in food handling techniques to ensure proper storage, preparation, and serving of food items
- Experience in food management or food service management is preferred
