Job Summary
We are seeking a talented Executive Chefto join the BSB&G team for our flagship restaurant in Dracut, MA! In this role, youll be responsible for creating & overseeing the kitchen of a fast paced restaurant that offers a large menu based off of quality food. Alongside preparing delicious meals, the ideal candidate has years and years of experience, creativity and strong leadership skills.
Responsibilities:
- Opening & Closing of the kitchen
- Oversee & produce high quality food
- Inventorying & ensuring Food Cost is in line with goals
- Management of kitchen staff from scheduling to overseeing work
- Ensure kitchen follows proper standards such as storage & labeling, food preparation, cleanliness and safety protocols
- Building the team by interviewing, hiring, development and disciplinary actions
- Working directly and alongside kitchen staff cooking/at station
- Weekly Specials
Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED
- Extensive previous culinary experience
- Certification from culinary school (preferred but not necessary)
- ServeSafe or Food Handlers Certification
- Advanced knowledge of culinary techniques and recipes
- Ability to remain calm and thrive under pressure
- Excellent management and leadership skills
