Glenbrook South High School is seeking a Part-Time (2 days per week) Long-Term Substitute Executive Assistant for the Student Services Department. This position is to cover a leave of absence from approximately December 4, 2023, through March 22, 2024.
This Long-Term Substitute Executive Assistant provides clerical and organizational support to the Assistant Principal, ongoing assistance to faculty, staff, students, and parents, and coordinates office support services for the department. Below is a partial list of responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the assistant principal, faculty, and students
- Provide assistance with various secretarial tasks associated with the assistant principal's assignments with committees and community groups
- Provide reception services for the department by greeting and directing visitors, answering telephone calls
- Maintain calendar and set up appointments with students, parents, and staff for the Assistant Principal
- Maintain all records and files for the department
REQUIREMENTS:
- Associate's degree, and/or two years of administrative assistant experience
- Experience in education environment and/or business preferred
COMPENSATION:
- The hourly rate is $25.71. For D225 retirees, the hourly rate is $33.42.
- This position is not eligible for benefits.
