This position works along side our Board of Directors and the Chief of Staff office.
Project Management:
- Oversee and support sensitive projects as assigned by CoS which may include research and analysis as well as coordination with team members.
- Assist in collecting and analyzing data to track progress of agency-wide initiatives.
Supporting work of Chief of Staff with Board of Directors:
- Maintain and share knowledge of best practices of Non Profit Boards of Directors.
- Oversee day-to-day management of and communication with the Board including working with Executive Leadership to compile, critically review, follow up and edit material.
- In coordination with Chief of Staff and Chair of Governance committee, draft and manage all aspects including analysis of annual board assessment survey and other assessments.
Administrative:
- Manage all travel related needs for CoS and provide monthly reconciliation of expenses.
- Manage logistics for meetings as directed including space, food, materials, etc.
Required Education and Experience
- Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 5+ years' experience in a project management or an administrative position, preferably in a not-for-profit.
- Advanced skills with Microsoft Office suite, especially Power Point and Excel and ability to learn and use new technologies and systems that help advance organizational goals
- Acute attention to and ability to manage detail and ability to meet deadlines with equanimity.
- Familiarity with board management software (Board Effect) preferred.

The base pay for this position ranges from $60,000 to $70,000 and will vary based on factors such as skills and experience. Base pay is one part of the Total Compensation that JEVS Human Services provides to recognize employees for their work.
